The dome of the Faculty of Arts at MS University is Asia’s largest masonry dome after Bijapur’s Gol Gumbaz. The college was designed by Robert Fellowes Chisholm (1840-1915) in an Indo-Saracenic style. The gigantic dome is inspired by Indian and Byzantine styles.
